"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Au pair accident claim

If you have reached the point where you need to make an au pair accident claim, we understand that it might not have been an easy decision. After all, your claim might be against your employers and that can make life very awkward. Alternatively, your accident might have happened elsewhere, but while you were working as an au pair. The important thing to remember is that health and safety is important no matter where you are or what you are doing, and if there has been a lapse in standards you could easily end up being hurt.

    I can’t afford legal action

You might revise your opinion on the cost of taking legal action when you find out that Accident Advice Helpline has a no win, no fee policy that allows you to begin your claim without having to pay out any money upfront. Legal aid used to be available to people in reduced circumstances that needed to take legal action. Unfortunately, in the late 1990s the government stopped legal aid for personal injury cases. The good news is that a year or two later, Accident Advice Helpline introduced our no win, no fee policy, so that you could still get the justice you deserved without the need to wait until you had the money to pay for a solicitor.

While you are recovering from your accident, you may be unable to work. This could be a problem both for you and your employer. You may be living in their home but be unable to carry out your duties, and they will need an extra pair of hands around the place. This means that you could both be out of pocket because of your accident. A simple injury is never as simple as it first appears!

    What should I do?

You need to be sure that you have seen a doctor about your injury and treatment, as you may need to provide medical evidence to support your au pair accident claim. Once you have done this, and if you are physically able, pick up the phone and call the free 24-hour helpline that we provide for your convenience. After you have spoken to one of our advisors you may just find that the stress of your situation has been reduced a little. We have a skilled and experienced team here that will gather all the information that they need for your case and then it will be pursued by our personal injury solicitors.

While your claim is with our team you will not have to worry about it. We will not ask you to contact the third party at any point during the process, so you can just concentrate on getting better.

To find out if we can help you, all you need to do is make a phone call. There are no instant solutions, but we can certainly get things moving in the right direction for you. Within a few months you could have the justice and the financial compensation that you deserve and your life might be very different to what it is at the moment.
