Vine accidents: Bowl surfing is unlikely to catch on!

Sports and leisure pursuits, whether they consist of playing a game of football on a sunny Sunday afternoon or going for a bowling session with all your work colleagues on a rainy week night, are vital ingredients to a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Exercising always involves a risk of accidents

We all have to take risks in order to gain valuable experiences and to grow as human beings. Inevitably, we all encounter injuries from accidents that could have been avoided. Sometimes, however, these accidents may have been the fault of someone else.

Even advanced bowlers are not immune to injuries, no matter how experienced they are at handling the ball. However, there may be some situations when you may suffer a slip, trip or fall that could have been prevented.

Have you been the victim of any accident in the last three years that was not your fault?

If you have encountered a slip or trip on a wet floor, you could be eligible to make a claim for financial compensation, depending on the severity of your injuries, just as people injured in a car accident caused by an untraced driver could make an untraced driver claim. If you have been the victim of a non-fault injury in another setting, such as accidents at work, you may also be able to claim compensation.

Some employees may experience work-related accidents such as injuries using defective equipment or fractured bones after falling on dangerous steps. If you’ve been injured in a road traffic accident that wasn’t your fault, you may also be entitled to claim car crash compensation after submitting a car crash claim to Accident Advice Helpline.
