    Survivor guide: Visiting Ibiza

The main purpose of visiting Ibiza is for the clubs, music, and alcohol. Or at least this is what the younger generation believe. For those that prefer quiet nights in, and long walks, there is another side to visiting Ibiza which is perfect for strolls and has beautiful views. But, whatever you go to Ibiza for you need to be careful to avoid having to make a claim for travel accident compensation.

Always be on the lookout to avoid a travel accident when visiting Ibiza

Unfortunately, like any tourist destination there are always pickpockets and thieves around looking to steal what they can. This doesn’t mean you have to spend the whole of your holiday worrying about a travel accident or theft, but it does mean you need to be aware.

Make sure you keep your belongings close by, especially when in a crowded area, and spread out your money to your pockets and bag, so that if you do find your bag goes missing you will still have some money.

To prevent a travel accident compensation claim, always make sure you do not make yourself vulnerable to pickpockets, so make sure any valuables such as jewellery and passports are somewhere safe and hidden.

Be careful when drinking to prevent a travel claim

If you are there for the night life you also need to be on the lookout for pickpockets, but also when drinking be aware of who is around you, and also sure you never put your drink down, to avoid a travel accident.

The last thing you want is a trip to the hospital after having your drink spiked and having to make a travel accident claim. If you are concerned something has happened with your drink don’t risk having a travel accident and simply buy another drink.
