    Accidents happen, and usually, you suffer injuries when you least expect it. If you work in an office, you may assume that you’re immune from injury while you’re sat at your desk, but even the safest-seeming workplaces can become the scene of work accidents and injuries. You never know what’s around the corner, and this is why all offices should have a first aid kit.

    Why all offices should have a first aid kit

    Do you work in an office? Do you know if there’s a trained first aider on hand or even a first aid kit on the site? Many of us go to work every day without even giving our health and safety a second thought. We assume that we’ll arrive, do a day’s work and head home without any worries at all. Sadly, in reality, there’s a risk of injury almost everywhere we go, and even an office can be a dangerous place.

    Accidents can happen at any time in any place and this is why all offices should have a first aid kit. A first aid kit can be used to tend to minor injuries and they can even make a difference in cases where an employee has a more severe injury, and they need urgent attention. First aid is about responding rapidly, and it’s really useful to have a kit that contains essential items nearby.

    Many of us have accidents that we bring upon ourselves. Perhaps we’re trying to walk up the stairs at the same time as holding a mug of tea or sending a text message, for example.
