"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

Why you should never use a phone whilst driving

Motorists should never use a phone whilst driving; in an emergency you should pull over, safely minimising all chances of injury. If you or another motorist is guilty of causing an accident because you were using your phone, you could be liable.

Driving on the road can be both enjoyable and extremely frustrating due to the number of people who fail to heed proper etiquette on the road. The results of car accidents can range from concussion to paralysis and even death. The importance of driving safely can’t be overstated as things can change in a split second and your life could take on a horrible twist.

At Accident Advice Helpline, we are aware of the fact that accidents do happen but we don’t overlook negligence or carelessness when it results in others being harmed. We have over 16 years of experience as personal injury claims specialists and would love to assist you in claiming compensation for any injuries you’ve suffered at the hands of others.

Why you should never use a phone whilst driving

The consequences of using your mobile phone whilst driving can be fatal; it is also illegal. You make yourself subject to arrest if you drive while using a mobile phone, even if you are at a standstill in traffic. The only time it’s legal is when you use through a Bluetooth hands-free setup, enabling you to talk without holding the phone.

If you crash your car, and the chances of you doing so are relatively high if you text and drive regularly, your chances of not being severely injured are slim. With car crash injuries including brain damage, paralysis and loss of limb, you are looking at an entirely different life if you or someone else causes an accident because they were using their phone while driving.

Have you been in accident with another motorist? Call our 24/7 helpline on 0800 689 0500 and from your mobile on 0333 500 0993 to discuss claiming compensation. If you have been in a car accident, it’s possible you’ve suffered injuries resulting in loss of work and had to go to physiotherapy to regain use of muscles. These are very valid reason to claim compensation and if the accident wasn’t your fault and happened in the last three years, you have a good chance of receiving compensation for your injuries. You can also take our 30-second test to find out if you’re eligible for compensation.
