The most common accidents at hen parties

Hen parties are a great way to celebrate the bride-to-be’s final night or weekend as a single woman. For many it is a chance to let their hair down and party. However, when mixing dancing, alcohol and music, accidents can and do happen; but what are the most common accidents at hen parties?

    Slips, trips and falls galore

When a bride-to-be dresses to impress for her hen night it may well include high heels. When you add alcohol to the night, slips, trips and falls can and do happen. These may be as minor as a small slip on the dance floor or trip over a stair. However, the slip, trip or fall injury can be quite painful depending on the situation.

    Too much to drink

After slips, trips and falls, some of the most common accidents at hen parties are usually alcohol related. They usually take the form of over indulging in alcohol which can cause many accidents from the simple slips, trips and falls to alcohol poisoning and far worse injuries.

If someone you are out with looks like they have had too much to drink and are not in control of themselves, try to get them to start drinking water to balance out the alcohol levels. If they carry on drinking you could be looking at far worse injuries than a simple slip, trip or fall. You may even end up spending a few hours in A & E with them.

However, if you have had a slip, trip or fall within the last 3 years that wasn’t your fault you may be able to make a claim. Accident Advice Helpline is a law firm that specialises in such cases as slip, trip or fall injury claims.
