You may have injured your ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) after a sports accident, a nasty fall or even in a car accident but if your ACL knee injury was not your fault you could be owed a large sum of compensation. To find out more about your rights, contact Accident Advice Helpline. We have helped thousands of accident victims to get justice after they were wrongfully injured and there is no obligation to make a claim when you call us.
I’m not sure who is responsible for my injuries
If you would like to know more information about compensation but you are not sure where the fault lies, contact our friendly and helpful team to discuss your accident in more detail. We can help you establish who was to blame for the accident which ultimately left you with a serious knee injury.
Even if you believe you may be at fault, call our helpline to see whether anyone else was responsible for your accident. You could be entitled to a large compensation payout if we find that someone else’s actions were negligent.
Will I need surgery for an ACL knee injury?
It is not uncommon for ACL injuries to require surgery to correct the problem though other treatments may be considered before this. Surgery may be necessary to reconstruct the area and this is often done by taking a piece of tendon, often taken from another part of your body, to replace the damaged ligament in your knee.
