I was on holiday with a friend of mine and we had hired a boat for the day. We located our boat on the quayside and were walking down a set of stone steps to reach it. At the bottom step I caught my foot on part of the step that had cracked and raised, and fell forward and struck my head on the side of the boat. I also landed on my hands very heavily and staved both my wrists as well as suffering damage to my knee and ankle.
I was quite shocked and I must have suffered concussion as well because I only know what happened as my friend told me. I was taken to hospital after the accident although I was discharged later the same day.
I wished to claim personal injury compensation and I found Accident Advice Helpline on Google. I was able to claim £5000 and I advise you to claim now if you have been injured in an accident that was not your fault.
