Because you do not have the details of the other driver involved in the accident, it’s even more important than usual to collect information and evidence. Most importantly, be sure to get the contact details of any witnesses.
If possible, take photos of any relevant damage to you or to your car, and also to any street furniture. Also photograph any road conditions that are relevant. If you didn’t manage to do this at the time of the accident, you might be able to go back and do so afterwards.
The more information you can collect, the better the chances of your compensation claim succeeding.
Most important of all, though, is that you see a doctor. Even if your injuries seem minor, and even if they don’t hurt, it’s essential that you have this confirmed, particularly if you’ve taken a bang on the head.
