Bicycle injury compensation

Have you been injured riding a bicycle? You could make a bicycle injury compensation claim.

Because accidents on the road are so common, we have a general Road Traffic Accidents page that you may find helpful. You may also be interested in our pages that give more detail about specific injuries.

Of course it’s important to bear in mind that most successful injury compensation claims are in situations where the injured party was not at fault. So in this case that could mean being knocked off your bike by another vehicle, or falling off due to poor road surfaces, oil on the road, and so on.

Before you claim for a bicycle accident....

......you need to collect as many details as you can about the accident. Try and get names, contact information and insurance details for anyone else involved, and also those of any witnesses. If there are any pictures worth taking – of any damage, specific road conditions, or skidmarks – then try and get those, and return to the scene if you need to.

Of course what’s most important of all is to make sure that you get proper medical attention. Even if you feel fine, and even if it doesn’t look as though there’s anything wrong, it’s essential that you see a doctor, particularly if you’ve taken a bang to the head.

Then, it’s time to contact Accident Advice for help with your compensation claim.
