Repetitive strain injury, or RSI, is an umbrella term. It describes damage to muscles, nerves, tendons, tendon sheaths or other soft tissues resulting from overuse or misuse. RSI usually occurs in the upper limbs, and can lead to other problems too, such as tendonitis.
