Police in Howard County, Maryland, USA are investigating an accident at a construction site in which a man working for a construction company suffered a fatal work injury.
Morgan Tyler Gainer, 34, was working at a residential construction site at the intersection of Palace Hall Drive and Skylark Boulevard in Laurel on Monday morning when he was struck on the head by an excavator and killed.
He had been working for Elkridge-based W.F. Wilson & Sons.
Colleagues called 911 at 7:50 a.m. to request medical assistance. When police and fire and rescue units arrived, Gainer was dead.
A preliminary police investigation has found no signs of foul play.
