Bouncer made to pay victim compensation after indecent exposure

by Alison Leon 7 October 2010

A Belfast bouncer who indecently exposed himself to a woman at a bar has been ordered to pay her compensation.

Paul McCamley was working as a security guard at the Queen’s University Student Union in May 2009 when it is alleged that he approached the victim and said, ‘I’ve got something you’d like to see,’ before exposing himself.

McCamley, who was employed by a private company, has now lost his job after the allegations came to light. The court was told the victim was ‘shaking and shocked’ after the incident, which followed a night out with friends at a pub quiz.

The 34 year old was ordered to pay the victim £500 compensation as well as undertake 100 hours of community service. The judge warned him that he could face jail if he does not comply with the order.
