Police name Suffolk toddler killed in Saturday car crash

Police have named the toddler who died in a car crash near Newmarket in Suffolk on Saturday.

Three-year-old Henry James Blacklock was pronounced dead following an accident between the Renault Clio in which he was a passenger and a Jaguar X-Type at 7.10 last night, on the B1063 between Ashley and Cheveley.

The driver of the Clio, a 42-year-old man from Newmarket, remains in a stable condition in Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge after he sustained serious injuries in the crash.

A 30 year old man who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been bailed until December 1.
