Driving instructor 'stable' after learner's car crash

by Kathryn Boast 29 September 2010

A driving instructor who was seriously injured in a car crash in Grimsby is now in a stable condition in hospital.

Angela Jennings, 51, was travelling in the passenger seat of her silver Ford Fiesta as she gave a lesson to a 17 year old female pupil when they collided with a red Ford Ka, being driven by a 40 year old man, at some point between the turn off for Barnoldby-le-Beck and the golf club on Barton Street.

All three people involved were badly injured: the Ka driver sustained serious internal injuriues and the accident resulted in abdominal injuries for the female driver.

Ms Jennings remains in Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital.
