A mother-of-two has died after being hit by a car on a dual carriageway in Dundee.
Linda Crosbie, a 44 year old accountant, was struck by a blue Honda Civic while crossing Riverside Drive at about 1.30am on Sunday. A colleague she was walking with was also struck by the car. Both were taken to hospital follwing the accident but unfortunately Ms Crosbie died later on Sunday morning. Her colleague has serious spinal injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.
Ms Crosbie leaves a son and daughter behind.
