Man accused of making fradulent compensation claims

by David Osele 23 August 2010

38 year old Nathan Williams has been accused of fraud after submitting seventeen compensation claims for injuries sustained all over London in a period of eight months. Williams claimed to have suffered a broken ankle and hip as well as face, knee and groin injuries. Had we won his claims, he would have been in line to receive thousands of pounds, but local authorities across the south of the capital became suspicious and alerted the police. Williams often submitted claimsa for similar accidents, all of which involved him tripping over broken or loose paving, often only weeks apart. He is currently remanded in custody and facing eight charges of fraud at Westminster Magistrates Court.
