[January 2010] A Woman from Cornwall is £3500 better off following a successful compensation claim. The woman was involved in a car accident whilst travelling as a passenger in her friend’s car.
They were travelling along a minor road that leads through Cornwall Town Centre. The driver lost control of the car and crashed through a hedge, then into a ditch.
They were both very shaken up by the incident and were taken to hospital in an ambulance. The passenger was diagnosed with
whiplash and bruising to her leg.
The woman later contacted personal injury compensation specialists
Accident Advice Helpline to find out about making a
claim for compensation. As the accident was not her fault she was able to make a claim against the driver’s insurance company, and received £3,500 in compensation.
