Esther’s career and achievements
Esther Rantzen is one of the best-known faces on British television. For twenty-one years she produced and hosted “That’s Life!” the most successful consumer programme in the history of television, reaching audiences of more than twenty million viewers. For seven years she hosted her own talk show, “Esther” for the BBC, and ITV’s social action programme. “That’s Esther”. She has presented the leading radio topical programmes, The Jimmy Young Show for Radio Two, and The Nicky Campbell Show for Radio Five. In addition to her vast experience of business, corporate life and the needs of the public, she has made numerous ground-breaking documentaries about social issues such as child abuse, drugs, mental health and childbirth, several of which resulted in changes in laws and practice.
Since 1986 she has been Chair of the children’s charity, Childline, the national children’s helpline for children in distress or danger. It now has call centres throughout the UK, answering well over one million calls a year. In addition she is patron or president of numerous charities connected with children, and supporting people with disabilities. In 1991 she received the OBE for services to broadcasting, and honorary doctorates from Southampton Institute and the South Bank University for the creation of Childline and her career as a broadcaster. Esther Rantzen and Accident Advice Helpline
We are very proud to be working with Esther Rantzen as the face of Accident Advice Helpline. Esther began campaigning for the Accident Advice Helpline team back in August 2003. This is what Managing Director, Darren Werth, had to say about the exciting partnership:
“We are delighted that Esther Rantzen will be working with us. As, arguably, the UK’s leading consumer champion, we have long admired her tireless work to ensure justice for the ordinary person. And that is exactly what Accident Advice Helpline has been established to provide – compensation for ordinary people with genuine claims.”
Esther has fully investigated Accident Advice Helpline’s processes and customer service. Here is what she found:
“After thoroughly investigating Accident Advice Helpline, I have found that they are indeed fighting on behalf of innocent victims who would otherwise not receive the compensation they deserve. I have checked the company’s credentials and track record, and have met a number of its clients, and I was extremely impressed. I am convinced that Accident Advice Helpline only deals with genuine claims which deserve compensation.”
Should people claim? Esther says “Yes.”
“I have met many people who have been denied justice – innocent people whose lives have been wrecked by an accident which was not their fault – and have faced hardship, unemployment or disability as a result. The law states that if you’ve been hurt, and someone else was negligent and is to blame, you should be compensated. Everyone should have access to justice,” says Esther.
Esther is extremely confident in Accident Advice Helpline’s services:
“If you call Accident Advice Helpline, I promise you will receive no high pressure sales tactics, no money is required to make a claim and No Win No Fee means exactly that. One of their experienced advisors will help you every step of the way and their unique compensation claim protection plan will ensure that all costs involved in making your claim are fully covered.”
